The following information is provided so that clients, training participants, and professional colleagues can understand precisely the kind of professional relationship being entered into.
State Licensure
Dr. Lisa Gold holds active state licensure in the following U.S. states:
- Utah — Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CMHC)
- Arizona — Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
- Colorado — Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
- Hawaii — Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
Scope of Services
Psychotherapy services are provided only in the four U.S. states where Dr. Gold holds active state licensure: Utah, Arizona, Colorado, and Hawaii. Services offered in other jurisdictions — including international retreats, online training, and consultation with practitioners and practices outside those four states — are coaching, consultation, education, training, retreat-based, or integration-focused in nature, and do not constitute psychotherapy or medical treatment. The nature of each professional relationship is established transparently at the start of the engagement.
