Soul Surfing Psychedelic Prep — For Clients is a six-week live online preparation course and process group for people preparing for their own psychedelic-assisted healing work. Practitioners sometimes join to experience the same prep their clients receive — but this is not the Soul Surfing Practitioner Training or certification pathway.

A six-week live online course plus app to support your preparation with flexible structure, not guesswork. Optimize outcomes of your journey with psychedelic healing and growth. Benefit from decades of experience of Dr. Lisa Gold, a licensed relationship and trauma therapist, certified sex and psychedelic therapist, with extensive experience effectively creating bespoke psychedelic experiences for hundreds of clients.
Understand your nervous system and how to upgrade your default programming with research-based preparation. Weekly sessions are recorded for review and integrate teaching, guided practice, and group process. Participants are invited to develop their own daily practice between sessions — the embodied rehearsal that turns insight into lived change.
Soul Surfing Psychedelic Prep is psychoeducation. It is not psychotherapy, nor is it a substitution for psychotherapy. It is best completed in conjunction with participation in psychotherapy.

What’s Included
Everything you need to prepare well — the live group, the recordings, the worksheets, and embodied breathwork practice, plus a reduced rate when you continue into ketamine-assisted psychotherapy.
Six weekly live sessions
The pilot cohort runs September 9–November 4, 2026. The next six-week cohort runs January 13–February 17, 2027. All live sessions are recorded.
Recordings of every session
All sessions are recorded, so you can revisit the teaching and guided practices anytime — or catch up on any week you miss.
Complete preparation worksheets
Work through the worksheets electronically in the app, or print hard copies and complete them old-school with a pen or pencil — whatever best supports your process.
Designed to share with your care team
The worksheets and reflections are made to share with your therapist and psychedelic practitioners, so your preparation strengthens the work you do together.
Two-hour guided breathwork immersion
The final group session includes a two-hour guided Deep Immersion Breathwork experience, live on Zoom and recorded.
Reduced rate on KAP sessions
Participants receive a reduced rate on ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP) sessions.

For Practitioners — How This Course Fits the Soul Surfing Training Pathway
Soul Surfing Psychedelics Prep is also the prerequisite course for practitioners entering the Soul Surfing Foundational Training and the broader Soul Surfing certification pathway. Practitioners are invited to go through the same preparation process their clients will go through — because no amount of theory replaces the wisdom of having lived it yourself.
Practitioners may either complete the full six-week live course, OR review the recorded video modules and complete the quiz at the end of each module to satisfy the prerequisite.
Course Investment
The investment for the full six-week Soul Surfing Psychedelic Prep — For Clients is $300. This includes the weekly live sessions and process group, one two-hour guided breathwork immersion, the workbook and worksheets, app access, lifetime access to recordings, and a reduced rate on KAP sessions.
Harm reduction and access matter to us. Group practices and practitioners — reach out about group and scholarship rates; reduced and donation-based arrangements are considered on request. Free or scholarship codes from Dr. Gold can be entered at registration.

Participation in this course does not constitute a therapist-client or coach-client relationship with Dr. Gold or any other Soul Surfing-affiliated practitioner. Participation does not provide eligibility, referral, or access to ketamine or any other psychedelic medicine — those decisions are made independently between the participant and their own licensed medical provider.
If you are currently working with a licensed therapist, you are encouraged to inform them that you are participating in this course and to integrate the material into your existing therapeutic work. If you are not working with a therapist and find that material arising in the course would benefit from clinical support, you are encouraged to seek a licensed mental health professional.
